One of our favorite RV stops is the Mayport Naval Station base. Near the campground is a beautiful lake inhabited by ducks, herons, fish, turtles...and crocodiles. On sunny days, the gators climb onto the banks to sun themselves. We've counted at least four and have collectively named them Hank.
One lovely day as I walked Andy around the lake, I saw a heron on a bank. Not far from it was a gator partially submerged in the water. At least two scenarios ran through my mind as to what could happen as I passed them. Returning about twenty minutes later, the two had not moved. And I got the perfect shot.
Walking towards home, several verses for a meme came to my mind...
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary... walks around... seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEBUS).
The wolf will live with the lamb (Isaiah 11:6 WEBUS). For this one I would write "Predator and prey will live in harmony, my version of Isaiah 11:6".
Don't be deceived! Evil companions corrupt good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEBUS)

It’s so nice reading your emails and your webpage.
