Beyond the Chocolate Bar

Dear Father God,

Thank you for giving us the curiosity and imagination to create chocolate. We greatly appreciate the final products and remember those at the source of this industry.

Protect the farmers in Central and South America, West Africa, and Southeast Asia who face deforestation and climate changes to produce a good harvest. Encourage integrity in business dealings and in hiring adult laborers only.

Provide them with the needed resources and finances to keep their families and workers out of poverty. Bless them and the fruits of their labor in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
