The Driest Places
August 25, 2025

… And Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail. Isaiah 58:11 WEBUS

My Lord,

When I am in the driest time of my life,

When there is no stirring or passion in my heart,

You send a trickle of Your Living and Refreshing Water.

You revive me, evidence of your love for me.

The stream from Your Living Water becomes a river as I drink.

My stony, brittle soul becomes flesh again.

I can hear you.

Amen.
