To everything there is a season…
Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV
August. September. October. You feel it coming. The change. Summer is ending and autumn slowly redesigns the natural landscape around us. Even in our lives, seasons ends, and there is the subtle, sometimes uncomfortable shift into the new one. These transitions can rock our world. With feet firmly planted and eyes fixed on the Rock of our Salvation, we can walk into the new season on solid ground knowing that God is still with us.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for the past season in my life.
For the friends I had to let go, and the farewells to loved ones You called home.
For the hurts and disappointments, now chaff in the wind, and the lessons I learned from them.
Thank you for the light and the joy You gave me in the darkest days.
And for Your protection and guidance. They were my front and rear guards.
I cannot overlook or forget the blessings You sent my way.
They were gifted-wrapped in Your faithfulness.
Because of Your steadfast love for me, I bow my heart to You with unmeasured gratitude.
Amen.

Amen, indeed!
